Fujairah

Fujairah (Arabic: الفجيرة‎) is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, and the only one on the Gulf of Oman in the country's east instead of on the Persian Gulf (the other six emirates).  Thanks to such unique location, the Emirate is marked by its easy access to major shipping ports all over the world, which has made the Emirate an attractive port for investors and entrepreneurs across the entire world. Furthermore, the Emirate is marked by a chain of rough and rugged mountains. The East Coast lies between the rough mountains and the Gulf of Oman. With its many ranches and orchards, it is considered the most fertile area in the State. Moreover, the East Coast features remarkable touristic must-sees with its beaches stretched out along the coastal line and the high-rising mountains in several areas adjacent to the beaches, natural valleys and panoramic view cliffs, in addition to the mineral water used for treatment. In terms of area, Fujairah is estimated at 1165 square kilometres which puts the Emirate in fifth position among the other six emirates.
