Saudi Arabia has recorded another 1,905 new cases of Covid-19 and nine new deaths, Saudi officials announced on Wednesday.

According to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health, there have now been 44,830 confirmed cases of the virus in the kingdom.

Additionally, nine new fatalities were reported, bringing the kingdom’s total death toll to 273.

Health officials also there that a further 2,365 patients had recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 17,622.  

Around the world, there have been 4.37 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, including over 294,325 deaths.

More than 1.62 million people have recovered.
