Kuwait reported 885 new cases of coronavirus on Friday and a further eight deaths.
The total number of infections in the country now stands at 12,860, while the death toll has risen to 96.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad revealed 190 patients were in intensive care, 100 of whom are in a critical condition.
The ministry added that 189 additional patients have recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total to 3,640 recoveries.
